Route 26 Dixville Notch, NH 03576 p: 603.255.4961 Website This resort, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1996 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features an outstanding eighteen hole course and a demanding nine hole course. Even though the Coashaukee Course (the nine hole design) was built on flat terrain, it can be very challenging for beginners and seniors. The fairways are wide open, but the slightly-sloped greens are small and difficult to hit in regulation. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The Panorama Course is rated the 3rd most difficult course in the state by the "New Hampshire Golf Association." In addition, "Golf Digest" rated it as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and #1 for 1999-00. This course is a typical Donald Ross design with small inverted greens and wide-open fairways that were built on very hilly terrain. There are ponds that come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #12, a 387-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot into a blind landing area, then an uphill approach shot to a green that was built into a mountainside. There are no pull carts on the Panorama Course because of the hilly terrain, but they can be used on the Coashaukee Course. Tee time reservations may be made up to seven days in advance for hotel guests. |
