Bent Tree Golf Club has always been known for its' Country Club atmosphere at Daily Fee prices. In that description of "country club atmosphere", the course conditions were what set it apart from the other area golf courses. With U.S.G.A. spec greens and wall to wall bent grass, it was considered a step above for a daily fee course.

Water hazards come into play on several holes, and the fairways are tree lined. The signature hole is #17, a 183-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a large water hazard that stretches from tee to green. This club hosted the 1994 State Open.
