Located a short drive southwest of Chattanooga, Black Creek Club opened for play in September 2000. This private course was designed by Brian Silva and measures just over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Silva was inspired by the traditional style of such designers as Seth Raynor, and has incorporated many classical features into this course, including punchbowl and Redan greens, random bunkering, blind approaches, and heavily contoured greens. Golfers may walk or ride, but there are no paths on the course. The fairways are planted with Tifsport Bermuda. Guests of club members may play the course either accompanied by a member ($50.00 / 18 holes), or unaccompanied and sponsored by a member prior to play ($75.00 / 18 holes).
