This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses, and 9-hole players are welcome at most times of the day. The Woodside 18 is fairly wide open, but there are greenside bunkers on every hole. Hole #13, a 155-yard, par 3, features a panoramic view of the Youghiogheny River Valley. The Lakeside 18 was built on more undulating terrain than its sister course, and the back nine is free of any parallel fairways. Water hazards come into play on both courses. John Butler built the original eighteen holes with horses and scoops in 1928. In 1963, some of those original holes were reconfigured and nine new ones were added, with the help of Ed Ault. In 2000, a fourth nine was opened. Butler's is a Beginner Friendly Certified Course. A family discount rate is available on weekend afternoons. If you bring a child under the age of seventeen, the whole group receives a discount on green fees. Junior and family leagues play each week. In addition, a four-hole practice course is located here, group lessons are taught throughout the spring and summer, and the Lakeside 18 is reserved for novices only on Wednesdays after 6:15. A full range of group golf outing packages are available. Tee times are available eight days in advance of play. Carts are required on the Lakeside 18 on weekends before noon.
