Colonia Country Club is a private, member sponsored, country club located in Middlesex County, in central New Jersey. The Club was established in 1898 and has been in continuous operation since that date. Currently, Colonia has a total membership of 380. This number is comprised of several categories of membership. The original nine holes of golf were designed by Thomas Benkelow in 1899. This was later expanded to the present 18-hole layout, in 1923. The current golf course includes; a driving range, putting green and practice green with sand traps.

Commencing in 2000 and continuing until 2001, Colonia Country Club embarked upon a total renovation of the facility. The result is one of the most lavish and beautiful clubhouses in the central New Jersey area.

This demanding course features narrow fairways and small, well-bunkered greens. Water hazards come into play on four holes, plus over fifty greenside and fairway sand bunkers have been positioned throughout the entire course. Robert White designed the back nine, which opened in 1937.
