This course's fairways were cut from out of a wooded area and never run parallel to each other. This parkland style, executive par 3 course is well suited for all golfers, especially senior citizens who need a brisk, but easy day of walking exercise. Some of the tees and greens are elevated. The rolling fairways are lined with many trees, including oak, pine, and holly. The greens are medium sized (average 5,000 square feet) undulating, and moderate in speed. Holes #1 and #7 require carries over water. The course plays from 2,194 to 2,952-yards, and there are two sets of tees. "Golf For Women Magazine" rated this course among the top 175 women-friendly courses in the U.S. The course is open year-round weather permitting.
