Located just west of Richmond, this 18-hole private facility opened for play April 2001. Designed by Lester George and Marvin “Vinny” Giles, Kinloch measures in at just over 7,000 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. The rolling tree-lined bentgrass fairways lead up to ample bentgrass greens, and there are 4 sets of tees to challenge all handicaps. Many of the older trees on the property were preserved, giving the course an “established” feel. The facility also includes a 3,200-square-foot teaching center with hitting bays that include video swing analysis. The club does not accept tee times and memberships are available by invitation only. Golfers may walk or ride, and caddies are mandatory. Guest may play only when accompanied by a member.
