Designed by Charles Graves of Atlanta, GA, Lagoon Park Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole public golf course located in Montgomery, Alabama. This Montgomery, Alabama golf course features a traditional layout with beautifully manicured fairways and Tif Dwarf Bermuda. Vegetation is abundant throughout the 72-par golf course and many holes on the back nine are lined with tall, towering pine trees. While playing your round, you will also see 100-year old Oak trees along with dogwoods and California raindrop trees. Lagoon Park Golf Course provides a medium length layout perfect for those who prefer to walk.

Lagoon Park Golf Course measures 6800 yards from the back tees, but actually plays longer than the yardage suggests due to the soft fairway conditions. Golfers are rewarded with a great lie on tee shots that reach the fairways. However, shaping your drive to reach the fairway presents a challenge as 8 holes feature doglegs. None more challenging than hole No. 15, which features a double-dogleg par 5. Boasting 550 total yards, big hitters are dared to drive the ball over the 150 foot pine trees that guard the first dogleg. Taking the challenge will require a high, towering drive that must carry at least 270 yards from the back tee. From there, a long second shot may be able to reach this very difficult par 5 for the rare opportunity of an eagle 3.
