Lakeside Golf Course is located a short drive from downtown Salt Lake City, and offers views of the Wasatch Mountains throughout its design. The course was created by architect Roland Bills in 1966, and expanded to 18-holes by William H. Neff in 1993. Overall, Lakeside is relatively flat, but half of the holes have water hazards in play. Holes 11, 12 and 13 lie in a wetlands area and the trio are known as "Amen Corner." Additionally, because of the many out of bounds areas, Lakeside favors accuracy over distance.
