US 27A North Lake Wales, FL 33853 p: 863.676.1195 This traditional course was built on undulating terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are moderate in size and feature numerous subtle breaks. The signature hole is #8, a 512-yard, par 5, where you must shoot over water to the fairway, then up a dogleg right fairway to a large green. There are strategically-placed oak trees throughout the course, and many small lakes come into play as well. "GOLFWEEK" selected it 90th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1999. |
