Nestled in the lush meadows of the Watchung Mountains, this 18-hole private championship course provides the perfect combination of a spectacular layout and challenging play. Designed by noted British architect, Roy Case, the course is sculpted over 260 acres of rolling terrain and mature woodlands.
Numerous changes in elevation, undulating greens, broad landing areas and rock walls create strong visual character. Each hole offers five beautifully manicured sets of tees, allowing golfers to play the course according to their ability. With a unique layout defined by distinctively different holes, New Jersey National has earned the reputation as one of the finest golf courses in New Jersey.

This links-style course is difficult from the back sets of tees with several carries of more than 200 yards off the tee. The greens are in excellent shape and sometimes amazingly fast. There is one water hazard that come into play on the last hole, and sand bunkers are scattered throughout the course. The signature hole is #17, a 396-yard, par 4, which features a ditch crossing the fairway about 220 yards off the tee, and an elevated green.
