The East Course is narrow and lined with scrub oak trees. The South Course is wide open and does not have any trees. It was originally a farm field. The North Course is the longest and toughest to play. There are two lakes on each side of each course that come into play. The green fees are a flat rate for nine, eighteen or twenty-seven holes of golf. Ocala is gorgeous horse country, second only to Kentucky for breeding. The town is the half-way point between Jacksonville and Orlando. |
