This course is known for its lush fairways and fast greens that are bordered by large, native hardwoods and pines. The beauty of the area abounds with panoramic views overlooking the rolling, wooded hills of the Shenango Valley. On the first tee, you can observe a bronze plaque commemorating Sam Snead's record score of 64 in a 1949 exhibition. The signature hole is number 14, a 152-yard, par three, known as "Death Valley" because of the many good scores that have died in its depths.
