Opened in 1961 in a historic district only 13 miles south of Washington D.C., Tantallon Country Club has enjoyed an active role in the history of golf, in and around the nations Capital. It has always enjoyed a membership that is very loyal, down to earth, and diverse. While diversity is important for the growth of the club, it is the spectacular Ted Robinson-designed golf course that is the foundation of why Tantallon has always been significant in and around Washington. Seniors will be pleased to learn that this course provides them with tee boxes of their own. Be ready for a lot of out-of-bounds stakes lining the holes, and water hazards that come into play on holes #15 and #18.
