No community in this area can boast that their golf course has received more accolades than University Park Country Club. Rated 4-star by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" since 1996, Golfweek and Florida Golf News ranked this challenging and beautiful Ron Garl design among the top 50 in Florida. Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Sarasota Magazine readers have voted it Best Local Golf Course year after year.

University Park Country Club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The fairways are fairly narrow, and the greens are large and undulating. Water hazards come into play on several holes. The terrain is flat, but you can only walk the course during the summer months after 2 PM. Guest fees are seasonal, therefore calling ahead of time to get accurate rates is recommended.
